Austin indie band Quiet Company delivered an exceptional performance for an audience of over 1500 attendees outside Austin City Hall for AIDS Walk Austin on October 18, 2009. Event producer AIDS Services of Austin used their ArtistForce.com account to find and review available talent, securing the band just a week before the event, after a smaller local band booked offline backed out.

Quiet Company donated their performance at the event and AIDS Walk Austin raised over $125,000 to provide services for people living with HIV/AIDS in Central Texas.

“ArtistForce.com and their gig-guru Jonathan Romley were key in securing a musically respectable group to perform for AIDS Walk Austin. ArtistForce.com is the easiest website I have ever used to locate and book talent…I recommend it to everyone from booking agents to artists, labels and event producers.”

Micah King, Communications Coordinator, AIDS Services of Austin

Special thanks to ArtistForce artist Dawn Maracle, who donated her 35 years of live sound experience at the event, making it possible for AIDS Walk to have a full scale live performance.

Thanks to Brynn Scott, Talent Buyer at The Parish Room here in Austin for approving the band’s performance at AIDS Walk, since the performance was just days before their upcoming show at her venue tomorrow night.

If you live in Central Texas, you should check out Quiet Company tomorrow night - Friday, October 23, 2009 at The Parish Room in Austin
